A brass slider will allow adjusting up to about 2 inches and is a good idea. A one piece construction will have a smooth surface and is good for formal collars. Grenadines have a textured surface and sliders don't always work smoothly with grenadines.

Normally the tied width of your bow tie will be at least 5 inches wide or it will be difficult to tie your bow. All measurements are your responsibility but we can help with advice if requested.

All our ascot/cravats ties are custom made/bespoke. please tell us your neck size.However, we are happy to make an ascot/cravat for you with standard measurements and construction which will work well for most men.If you would like a standard ascot/cravat simply click on "Add to Cart" and tell us in the notes when you checkout that you want a standard size.Our standard ascot/cravat is made with in a 52 by 4.5 with a 1 inch size neck width.
