Our shipping rates are based on the price of what you order.
Ties will often shorten while being shipped because of being folded and after wearing a couple of times will be the correct length and width again. We have three of our staff measure every tie before packing. Also how we measure may differ from how you measure.
Please check our News area on the front page for delivery updates.
Shipping via Registered Airmail is very slow and not very safe compared to DHL express.
We ship from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand via DHL Express and Registered Airmail.
We offer DHL Express and (Registered Mail for Canada, Greece, France & The UK) shipping options on the checkout page - We suggest DHL Express and if you select DHL Express we will take responsibility in the unlikely event that your shipment is lost or damaged.
These days the Post Office is not as good as it once was and we do not take responsibility for Registered Airmail in case of loss, damage or theft.
Registered Airmail is picked up from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand and partially shipped by DHL's global mail department via their hubs in Singapore and Germany. The final delivery is via the Post Office in your country.
America currently has a duty rate of 7.2% for ties; for orders up to $800 normally duty is not collected. In Australia duty is not normally collected for orders up to 1,000 Australian dollars. Canada has both import duty and VAT.
Countries in Europe and many parts of the world usually collect both customs duty and VAT tax which can be expensive - sometimes, using registered airmail will lower your taxes but only sometimes not always and we are not part of your country's tax collections.
For more information, please contact your local customs office.
Sam Hober is not responsible for any delays or expenses in shipping.
