Shipping

Ties will often shorten while being shipped because of being folded and after wearing a couple of times will be the correct length again. We have three of our staff measure every tie before packing.

DHL Express shipping is about 3 business days with a signature required for delivery and starts at around $10 for about 3 or 4 ties and several pocket squares. You will see the exact amount in your shopping cart.

Shipping via Registered Airmail to most places takes about 3 weeks and will require a signature for delivery; except the USA, Canada, France and the UK which don't require a signature for delivery so are very risky for delivery.

We ship from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand via DHL Express and Registered Airmail.

We offer DHL Express and Registered Mail shipping options on the checkout page - We suggest DHL Express and if you select DHL Express we will take responsibility in the unlikely event that your shipment is lost or damaged.

These days the Post Office is not as good as it once was and we do not take responsibility for Registered Airmail in case of loss, damage or theft.

Registered Airmail is picked up from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand and partially shipped by DHL's global mail department via their hubs in Singapore and Germany. The final delivery is via the Post Office in your country.

You will see your exact shipping rates in your shopping cart which include shipping and handling costs; you are responsible for all Import Duties and Taxes charged by your country.

America currently has a duty rate of 7.2% for ties; for orders up to $800 normally duty is not collected. In Australia duty is not normally collected for orders up to 1,000 Australian dollars.

Countries in Europe and Canada usually collect both customs duty and VAT tax which can be expensive - sometimes using registered airmail will lower your taxes but only sometimes not always and we are not part of your country's tax collections.

For more information, please contact your local customs office.The reason for our no refund policy is that we have a very small profit margin and allowing exchanges, refunds etc. adds to our costs, which would require us to raise our prices, which no one wants.

To help with colors, textures and fabric weights, swatches for most of our fabrics are available for purchase. Swatches are the only way to ensure an exact color, weight or texture.

We try very hard to have accurate colors but different monitors will show different colors - so please order swatches before your tie order, as we are not responsible if what you receive is not the color or shade that you saw on your monitor.
