Our grenadine silk is woven in Italy with 100% silk which has a loose weave that naturally makes beautiful full sized four-in-hand knots. We do not advise using a Windsor knot with grenadine silk as the knot will tend to be very large. A half-Windsor with a tight knot could work but this can shorten the tie's life.

We use a 4-fold construction as our standard construction on all our grenadine ties. We can also make a 6-fold construction if you prefer a heavier feeling for your ties. Please visit our Tie Construction page for the option of adding a 6-fold construction, extra length or rolled edges etc.

Please note that due to the loose weave grenadines can stretch over time. For some there is no stretch; for others one inch; or with longer ties over 60 inches, there can at times be 2 inches or more. Please visit our Grenadine Ties page which has a lot of information about grenadines.
