Made with 100% handwoven Plaid Thai silk.
Please note that Thai silk can have slubs and a stiff feeling resulting from being handwoven and is not a traditional silk necktie. It is intended for someone who is a connoisseur of Thai silk, or wants a unique artisanal necktie.
Although ties cut from the same piece of silk are similar, each tie has differences due to the silk being handwoven and is unique.

However, we are happy to make a standard tie for you which will work well for most men.

Our standard tie is made with a 3-fold construction with a 57 inch length and 3 3/4 inch width.
In our studio the tie is hand-folded, and sewn with a hidden stitch to close the back, which gives the tie a soft natural drape. The back is finished with a slipstitch at both ends.
The interlining is made with the finest Italian interlining wool. The keeper loop is sewn into the seam, which assures that it will last for years.
The tipping (on the underside of the tie) and the keeper are made from the same silk as the front of the tie.
After we make your pattern we carefully cut by hand the silk for each tie, one by one.
Please note that the photographs do not do the silk justice; in real life the silk takes on a new dimension and looks positively alive.
