However, we are happy to make a standard tie for you. Our standard tie is made with a 3-fold construction with a 57 inch length and 3 3/4 inch width. This size will work well for most men.

In our studio our ties are hand-folded, and sewn with a hidden stitch to close the back, which gives the tie a soft natural drape. The back is finished with a slipstitch at both ends.
The interlining is made with the finest Italian interlining wool. The keeper loop is sewn into the seam. It will last for years.
The tipping (on the underside of the tie) and the keeper are made from the same Atkinsons Irish poplin as the front of the tie.
After we make your pattern we carefully cut by hand the Atkinsons Irish poplin for each tie, one by one.
Please note that the photographs do not do the Irish poplin justice; in real life the fabric takes on a new dimension and looks very beautiful.
