This year marks 50 years of the Sam Hober business which was started in 1959 by Mark Hober (David's father and "Sams" grandfather). at first we were called Mark Hober - then David Hober and now with the new generation Sam Hober - named after my soon to be 4 year old daughter Samantha. On Noina's side of the family we have a tradition of hand weaving Thai silk that goes back hundreds of years. To celebrate 50 years of the Sam Hober family clothing business this year we are expanding our scarf offerings. We have always made scarves and are now making scarves with Macclesfield Madder printed silk. We are using vintage designs from the David Evans archives for our Macclesfield designs. The scarves can be ordered with flat edges in the length, width and shape that you prefer. We also can make scarves with many other fabrics, and our goal is to greatly expand our scarves. Suggestions and ideas are appreciated. |
